Facilities
We have three spaces available for rent at Hope United. All of our spaces are wheel chair accessible via the entrance at 2550 Danforth Avenue. Please mention that you will require access to the elevator when you make your rental request. We also have accessible washrooms on the main level.

Sanctuary
The sanctuary at Hope United seats 300 people (main floor and balcony) Built in 1930, the space has a lovely acoustic for instruments and voice. The mix of stained glass and oak create a very serene sacred space. We are currently looking for a faith group to share our space on Saturdays or Sundays. The pipe organ is a 2 manual, 26 stop 1964 Keats. The pipework offers great clarity and colour, and is well balanced for the space. The swell is under expression with a particularly fine oboe stop. We now have two pianos available in our sanctuary: a vintage Bluthner grand and a 1974 Yamaha C7 semi-concert grand. As well as a worship space, the sanctuary works well for concerts, special events, teaching/rehearsal space and public meetings.
Auditorium
The auditorium features table seating for 150 or theatre style for 200. There is a large stage with general lighting. This space also has a full kitchen. There are pianos on the stage (small Nordheimer upright) as well as on the floor (Mason & Risch upright). We also have an electric organ. In addition, we have an 8 channel portable sound system that can be used in any of our spaces.
Multi-Purose Room - Former Gym
This room has hardwood floors. I also has a kitchenette and refrigerator. The room seats 90 and works well for rehearsals, classes, art displays and meetings. It has an upright Ennis piano. In addition, we also have an 8 channel portable sound system for use in any of our spaces.
