Musical Musings is a one hour concert featuring selections from Broadway and familiar tunes that will set toes tappin’ and hands clappin’, plus lots of opportunity for audience sing-alongs. This company of professionals are award-winning singers, dancers, actors, and musicians, who have trod the boards of Stratford, Broadway, Mirvish, Kennedy Centre, Shaw and Disney. They’ve lit up stage, film and TV, toured from sea to sea, and happen to be on the better side of 55. The show begins at 7:00pm and admission is a free will offering.
Let Your Light Shine
On November 19th, 2023, Hope United officially launched “Let Your Light Shine”, a Stewardship Campaign with the goal of raising $100,000 to repair, restore and renovate our windows. The restoration and upgrade of our windows is a vital part of the building envelope that will improve our energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint. As well, our overall aim is to ensure that our building, and sacred space, are here for our congregation and the many community organizations we serve in the years to come. Our campaign currently sits at $25,000, with a substantial boost in January, 2024 of $20,000 from the Faithful Footprints Program of the United Church of Canada.
